About PostPayoff
PostPayoff helps creators, affiliate marketers, social media managers, and small businesses publish social content, review post performance, automate authorized engagement workflows, create tracked links, and connect individual posts to clicks and supported sales or affiliate outcomes.
Information you provide
Depending on the features available and used, you may provide:
- Account details such as your name, email address, and account preferences.
- Content, captions, scheduling choices, links, and automation rules you create.
- Messages and details you send when requesting support or early access.
- Integration settings and identifiers needed to connect services you authorize.
We do not ask you to send passwords for Facebook, Instagram, affiliate, or sales platforms.
Facebook and Instagram information
When you choose to connect a Facebook or Instagram account, you authorize access through Meta OAuth. PostPayoff does not collect your Facebook or Instagram password. PostPayoff may access only the platform data and permissions needed for the features you authorize. Depending on those permissions and features, this may include:
- Connected Page, professional account, and platform identifiers.
- Page and post information, including content, publishing status, and timestamps.
- Comments and engagement information needed for analytics or authorized response automations.
- Reach, views, engagement, and other analytics or insights made available by Meta APIs.
- Access tokens and technical identifiers required to keep the integration operating. When retained, access tokens are stored using reasonable security safeguards and used only to maintain the integration you authorized.
Meta platform data is used only to provide the functionality the user authorizes. PostPayoff does not use a connection to access unrelated personal information and does not sell Meta platform data.
Tracked links and attribution information
PostPayoff may create unique links and record attribution events such as the originating post, link identifier, click time, and destination. Where a user connects a supported affiliate or sales platform, PostPayoff may receive order, conversion, commission, product, or transaction identifiers and amounts needed to attribute a result to a post. We limit this data to what is needed for attribution and reporting.
How information is used
- Provide publishing, analytics, automation, link tracking, and attribution features.
- Authenticate users, maintain integrations, and follow their settings.
- Respond to support, privacy, and data deletion requests.
- Protect the platform, prevent abuse, diagnose errors, and improve reliability.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce applicable terms.
PostPayoff does not sell personal information.
Storage and service providers
Information may be stored using reputable hosting, database, email, monitoring, and security providers working on PostPayoff's behalf. These providers receive only the information reasonably necessary to perform their services and are expected to protect it. Data may be processed in countries other than the one where a user lives.
Retention
We retain account and integration information while it is needed to provide the service. After an account is deleted or an integration is disconnected, associated information is deleted or de-identified within a reasonable period unless a longer period is required for security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or backup rotation. Aggregated or de-identified analytics may be retained where they cannot reasonably identify a user.
Data deletion and user choices
Users may disconnect integrations through the applicable platform and may request access, correction, or deletion of their PostPayoff account and related application data. Instructions are available on our Data Deletion page. Requests may be sent to support@postpayoff.com.
Rights differ by location and may include access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent. We may need to verify a request before completing it.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so users should also protect their account credentials and notify us of suspected unauthorized access.
Third-party platforms
Facebook, Instagram, Meta, affiliate networks, sales platforms, and other connected services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. PostPayoff does not control those services. A user's use of a third-party platform remains subject to that platform's policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as PostPayoff develops, features change, or legal requirements evolve. We will post the revised policy here and update the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the service or by email when appropriate.
